Ronnie D. Jackson, 79, passed away September 7, 2019 at Corn Heritage Village. Ronnie was born October 16, 1939 in Carnegie, OK to Henry and Lona (Eskew) Jackson.

Ronnie attended Carnegie Public School graduating with the Class of 1959. Ronnie was a member of the Army National Guard. He was a custom harvester since 1950 and a farmer/rancher since 1957. He lived in the Carnegie/Mountain View area all of his life.

Ronnie was a member and served as a deacon of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, OK. He was a member of the Mountain View School Board from 1982-1987. Ronnie loved horses and Oklahoma Sooner Football.

Son: Russ Jackson and wife Jani, Mountain View, OK
Daughter: Dedra Hill and husband Mark, Dalhart, TX
3 Grandchildren: Hunter Hill, Kate Jackson, & Paden Jackson
Sister: Linda Strawn

Dearest Paula, Dedra, Russ, & Families, I know it's hard right now, and whatever anyone says to you is very difficult understand.  But as you all know God holds all the answers and he will take care of your pain in time.  Just hold on to your Faith and let God take care of your pain, it may take awhile but he will if you will let him.
Your Dad was a great man of Faith & Loved God, he was always a happy person.

I never got to payback that gallon of gasoline, when I ran out by his house back when I was 15 years old he just laughed and said we are good. What a good man he was.
