Donald Edward Kelley

Donald Edward Kelley was born on June 12th, 1937 north of Carnegie, Oklahoma and passed away on June 11th, 2025 at the Carnegie Nursing Home. He grew up in the Carnegie area, graduating in May of 1955. Don entered the Air Force in 1956 and served until 1960, then re-entered in 1962 and served until 1966. After that, he was in the Air Force reserves until 1991 to complete his retirement from the Air Force.

Don was an electrician in Carnegie, working with his father, Pete Kelley, and then on his own until 2007. He was a tinkerer and loved telling stories. He will be missed by family and friends.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Janelle Kelley of Carnegie and Karen (and Al) Gross of Edmond and one brother, Doug Kelley (and Dianne) of Grapevine, Texas. He also has 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gayle Hoffman and Mary Holmes.

Burial will be at the Alfalfa cemetery. No services are planned.
