Lou Ann Haddon passed away on Saturday, June 21st, 2025 at her residence in Anadarko, OK. Born and raised in Hobart, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of William B. "Bill" Hall (Zotigh) and Louise Whitehorse Hall, and the granddaughter of Charles Whitehorse, Mabel Hummingbird, Stephen Hall Zotigh, and Inez Amaunkomo Zotigh.
Lou Ann graduated from Hobart High School in 1974 and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Lou Ann was elected as the 1977 Kiowa Tribal Princess at the age of 21, her Director was Matthew Whitehorse and earned through tribal election. After her reign she continued to work for the Kiowa Tribe in a few departments until she moved over to Riverside Indian School for about a year.
Lou Ann was united in marriage to Taft Haddon on January 5, 1990 in Wichita Falls, TX. They made their home in Anadarko and she worked in service of Indian Country as a Legal Instruments Examiner in the Land Titles & Records Office at the Southern Plains Regional Office of the BIA throughout her professional career. She retired December 31st 2018 after 28 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother William B. Hall Jr.
Survivors include her husband Taft Haddon, Anadarko, OK

1 Son: Sebastian Daughomah Haddon, & Companion Valerie Crispin of Anadarko, OK
6 Grandchildren: Quinlynn & Companion Jacob Evans, Mefaunwey Keely, Sheaden Louise, Khanyien Tahlee, Takoda Robert, Giovanni Sebastian
