Darlene ... dear lifelong friend, wonderful neighbor and longtime coworker ... going to miss you so much! You've always been so talented as an artist...your beautiful work will be greatly missed. You cared so much about the children and families you worked with. What a wonderful caregiver you were to several of your family members starting when you were a young adult and throughout the years. You worked hard for everything you have...all by yourself! You always loved your family and friends. Heaven has definitely gained a beautiful soul! Love you.
A great sweet lady glad she enjoyed her last years with Ross

I’m sorry to hear about Darlene. I always enjoyed being in her home when I was friends with Darla during my school years. Bless you
So sorry to learn of the death of Darlene. We worked together for years at the Kiowa County Department of Human Services where she was a child welfare specialist. I always enjoyed being around her and was amazed at her ability as an artist. She shared her talent willingly, painting the sets for many years for Shortgrass Playhouse productions, painting the murals at the Hobart Museum, and teaching art at the local Vo Tech. She was a loving mother to her daughter Darla, who preceded her in death, and her son Carroll Corbin. She loved her grandchildren too. Rest in peace Darlene. We will miss you.

Darlene was a great friend and coworker! Praying for the family.
This was an absolute shock. I've known her since 1970 and my parents had her paint a painting of my sister who passed away shortly after getting acquainted. She will definitely be missed by all who knew her. Prayers for her family and friends
