Curtis Holman, 69, passed away on June 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy built on faith, family, friendship, and hard work.

Curtis was born on March 5, 1957, in Rocky, Oklahoma. He attended Hobart Public Schools, where he served as class president and distinguished himself as a state champion wrestler. Throughout his life, Curtis carried the same determination, leadership, and competitive spirit that marked his youth.

In the summer of 1982, Curtis was baptized in Custer, Montana, by Brother Hardy Langley. His faith in the Lord became a cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy in talking about God, sharing his testimony, and leading others to faith.

Curtis built a successful tree service company and took immense pride in eventually passing the business on to his son. Together, they built not only a company, but a legacy they were both deeply proud of. A born salesman and true people person, Curtis never met a stranger. He had a gift for learning who people were, understanding their needs, and showing them love and encouragement. He saw the potential in others, often before they saw it in themselves, and made sure they knew they were capable of great things.

Above all, Curtis was a proud father. The only thing he loved more than his children were his three granddaughters, whom he adored. He delighted in spoiling them, sneaking them too many snacks, and showering them with love. He was ornery, loved a good debate, and could strike up a conversation with anyone. His wisdom, humor, and generous spirit touched countless lives.

Curtis was preceded in death by his stepfather, Glen Sullins; his sisters, Tammy Palmer (1972-2008) and Ronda (1957-2019); and his wife, Mary Lou Holman.

He is survived by his mother, Pat Sullins; his father, Bob Holman, and stepmother, LoRita Holman; his son, Tanner Holman and wife, Monica, and their daughters, Noaa, Georgia, and Eloise; his daughter, Shelby Page; and his former wife and lifelong friend, Joy.

He is also survived by his sister, Teresa Witt; brothers Leonard Holman, Kent Holman, Brent Holman, J.R., and Rick Sullins; sisters Kelli Salmon Caraway, Tracey, Marsha Boyd, and Tonya Gasper; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many family members who were adopted by love.

Curtis was a good man who loved deeply, lived faithfully, and never missed an opportunity to encourage someone or tell them about the Lord. Though he will be missed beyond words, his legacy will live on in the family he cherished, the lives he touched, and the faith he shared.
