Thomas Wayne Davis, 75, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family.
Thomas was born on November 6, 1950, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, to Venson Davis and Caroline Mae (Hancock) Stenger. He married the love of his life on March 10, 1972, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Their backyard wedding marked the beginning of a devoted marriage filled with faith, love, and service to others.
Thomas earned his bachelor's degree in education and dedicated many years to shaping young lives as an elementary school teacher before his retirement. Alongside his wife, he owned and operated the Carnegie Tag Agency for many years, becoming a familiar and trusted presence in the community.
A faithful servant of God, Thomas devoted much of his life to ministry. He served as Children's Ministry Director before answering God's call to become Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church of Carnegie. Prior to that, he faithfully served at Cox City First Baptist Church as a minister. His passion for sharing the Gospel and serving others was evident in every aspect of his life.
Since 1992, Thomas faithfully served as a cook for students attending Falls Creek Youth Camp, where he cherished opportunities to encourage young people and share the love of Christ. He found great joy in helping others, offering a listening ear, and demonstrating God's love through acts of kindness and service.

three grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
Preceded in passing by his mother, father, step-father, and son Shaun Davis.
