Nita Anne McDonald passed away on June 4, 2026. She was born to Aaron and Vera Ogden on October 30, 1930, in Cordell, OK and raised in Thomas, OK until she married E.F. McDonald at the age of 20. They lived in Chickasha, OK, Tulsa, OK, OKC, OK before settling in Anadarko, OK in 1963. Erva worked for the City of Anadarko as Elect Supt. while Nita worked for several Anadarko School Supts many years. They both had great lives in Anadarko. So many friends, it is a history of the town. And, our mother could still remember them all. She was also a long time member of the First United Methodist Church. She never cussed or drank. Unless special occasions called for it. She never complained or spoke harshly of anyone. There were several occasions that merit both. She was our mother and we loved her deeply. She will be sorely missed by us and many more.
