Haileigh Jane had a beautiful spirit and was a friend to all. Her smile could light up a room and was very beloved by her family and friends. Haileigh Jane Poolaw Roberts passed away from this world suddenly on Monday May 25, 2026. She was born July 11, 2002 to Logan Poolaw at Norman Regional Hospital Porter Campus in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a precocious child who loved animals; in her lifetime she raised chickens, turtles, geckos, and a large Bearded Dragon she kept for 6 years named Harambe.

At OU she participated in the GEN cohort (Genomics and Ethics Program for Native Students). Also at OU, Haileigh joined the sisterhood of Gamma Delta Pi where she made many friends from different Native backgrounds.
