I apologize for not being able to make the services. But I just wanted you to know that I first met Pat when he and I worked in the old WCD offices years ago.  Most haven't a clue of what he did behind the curtain in helping Indian Country in those days. He had a way with words, and taught me how to make an impact on what I had to say, why I had to say it, and for who I spoke for.  I use to laugh when he would bring me notes on anything he had to write on, and he would say you never know when you have an ideal.  He was a pioneer in many ways, never afraid to throw his hat in the ring, and I admired his spirit for that. May God bless you and the family.  Rest in peace my friend.
