Sorry to hear about Jerry, I had only met him briefly this past January but the imprint he left on me will never be forgotten. He is now in the place he strived to be and the place he preached about. May the peace and solace he had provided many now be with you during this your time of grief.

There aren't enough words to explain the love and dedication that he dolled out to a many people to help in every day life . He was a Godly man and he won a many people to the Lord and chAnged a many a lives doing it. The Love and compassion of teaching young boys how to become men and he did thru his love of fishing. You will always have a place in my heart. Farewell until we meet again and thank you for loving us.
We met Mr. Tate when we moved here 3 years ago because we needed a plumber of all things. We were so impressed by his work and that he was a man of God. Listening to him give testimony and the love on his face while he was doing it gave us a reawakening of sorts to how Jesus will always be there for us. I am glad that I got to visit with him one last time last week, he was a blessed man and will be missed.
