They were married 46 years and were blessed with 7 children, Dewayne, Ross, Jr., Jimmy, Darlene, Tom, Debbie and Victor.

The early years for Ross and Wilma were hard, but they always provided a loving home and everything their family needed all the while instilling a great faith in God in their children. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Carnegie where she was a long time Sunday School teacher and active in the WMU. Wilma was known for her hard work and her love for her family. Wilma is remembered for her amazing, delicious food and was an incredible seamstress. Highlights of her retired years would be spending time with her grandkids on the farm, going to the creek and fixing hobo dinners on that old sand rock hill.

Wilma was proceeded in death by her mother and father, George and Mae, her husband Ross, and her sons Ross Jr., and Jimmy Ray, 10 brothers and sisters.
