Carl Harris

Carl Edward Harris, 86, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on May 28, 1940, to Carl Edward and Opal Beatrice (Bryant) Harris in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Carl grew up and attended school in Hobart, graduating from Hobart High School in 1958. Carl enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. He served honorably and was discharged on April 30, 1964. Carl worked in Law Enforcement for the Hobart Police Department, Kiowa County Sheriff's Department, and the Granite Reformatory. He retired from CR Industries after 17 years. Carl and Betty then owned and operated The Corner Liquor Store for 10 years. He enjoyed collecting hot wheels and guns.
