Karen Sue Isham

Karen Sue Isham, 73, went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 30, 2026. She was born on May 10, 1953, in Wels, Austria, at the 124th Army Surgical Hospital, to Ann and Joe L. Glenn.

Being from a military family, Karen found herself settling in the Fort Sill/Lawton, Oklahoma area, where she began her career as an accountant and bookkeeper for Christopher's Home Furnishings. From there, she worked for many years at Lawton Loan and later at Stanfield and O'Dell.

Karen eventually moved to California to help her brother-in-law with his construction business. She worked as a dedicated accountant for Doug Wall Construction for more than 13 years. Karen later moved to Texas to be near her son, Steven, of whom she was extremely proud.

Karen loved her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe L. Glenn; her mother, Ann Glenn; and her sister, Anne Cutrufo.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Joe Glenn and his wife, Zelda, and Mike Glenn; her sister, Yvonne Wall and her husband, Doug Wall; her son, Steven Isham and his wife, Betty Isham; three grandchildren, Taylor, Makenzee, and Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Stetson and RosaMae; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Karen was a loving, caring, and dedicated mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved her family deeply and will be remembered for her devotion, kindness, and the love she shared with those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
