ObituaryWalter Dee Burrows, 78, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 25th, 2019. He was born on August 31st, 1940 to John Earl and Minnie (Newton) Burrows in Mountain Park, Oklahoma. Walter grew up and attended school in Snyder, graduating from Snyder High School in 1958. A few years after high school he enlisted into the United States Army and served his country honorably. After the Army Walter spent his working life as the Assistant Manager of the Safeway Grocery Store. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family and fishing. Walter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

I’ve known Walter since I was a small child, he was indeed a very nice person, my condolences to all his family
Walter was really a great guy. I worked with him for 14 years at Safeway. He was always nice and fun to be around . I waited on him at Walmart he was friendly always made it a point to speak to all of us in the Pharmacy. Sorry for your loss .

Walter was an awesome guy. He was the best part about going to the grocery store when I was a kid. His smile was always genuine and a boost to you day. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
