It was a great honor to work with and fly with you on our deployments and various missions while in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, 137th Airlift Wing.  You taught many young pilots with your wealth of knowledge.  RIP, LtCol Fowler.

So many memories from so many trips, watching you “ devour the young copilots” as you trained them to become confident pilots, the days & nights of bad weather, the sun rises & sun sets, the missions where if it
could go wrong it did, the good missions and the great missions.  Through it all, the good, the bad, the ugly thanks to you the missions were completed.

Rest In Peace my dear friend! We had so many great times together, flying and at Fish Camp! Besides that, we could put on a great BBQ together! Your BBQ beans are world famous. You’ll always have a warm place in my heart! I’m sure you’re teaching the angels something about props. Enjoy soaring in heaven!

Rest in Peace, friend.  Remembering any number of trips where you were in the Left Hand seat.  One such trip was to retrieve a repaired C-130 that was at Biggs AFB.  Standard trip down, pre-flight then back in the air with the repaired AC.  I was on headsets, when I heard your voice say, "Tell all those in back, we need to set down, and buckle up.  We did, and I heard you say, "Watch the speed"..Power was pulled and AC slowed, more, then as the pitch up was to the extreme, the nose fell thru and you said, "That's it, boys, looks like it's fixed" Always an education when you were the Pilot.  Rest easy, Col. See you later!! Gary Hagan, MSGT RET.

Ron, All the great memories-it's hard to believe you've moved on so soon, but heaven needed a good check pilot & true leader up there to get everything set-up and organized to pave the way for those of us left behind who will join you soon.  I'll miss you, but I'll feel better when my time comes knowing that you'll be there, ready to help me when I need it and show me what it takes to be somebody in the kingdom!
