Obituary

Robert Warner Black, long time Anadarko resident, was born on October 15, 1957 to Leslie and Mary Lou (Wingo) Black in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 6, 2019 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Robby leaves behind a legacy of caring, whether for family or friends, he always looked to give kindness to all. He proudly graduated in 1977 from Eisenhower High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. He married Mary Whitlow in 1991 and they enjoyed many years of married bliss until her passing in 2012.
Robby enjoyed movies and television, especially scary movies and old sitcoms like LaughIn. He collected old westerns and was especially fond of John Wayne. He also enjoyed attending concerts, making sure to get a t-shirt from every show.
Robby was an employee of APEX, and enjoyed going to work. He was a member of Oklahoma People First, Inc. Anadarko Chapter and had been a member since 1995. He will also be remembered for enjoying the times spent at Fort Cobb Lake on his family property.
