I have some special memories with Barton and Wanda when I would go to my grandparents (Ralph and Helen Geis) house as a kid. We would sit around and play card games and dominos. Me and Barton always got accused of cheating (could be because we were trading cards under the table). I saw Barton about a year ago at my grandpa’s funeral. We sat and talked for 30 mins about the good ole days. I know they are all in heaven rejoicing and playing cards.

Growing up I knew him as a friend of my Parents, Samie & Pauline Geis, seems they knew each other as young married couples. Later on I married Johnney VanDerPol and found out they were cousins. Every time I seen him in town we would visit and he would want to know about the family. There never was a kinder man that I know. Praise God we know where he is. and Prayerfully we will meet him there in Heaven.
