Wanda June Ahpeatone, 96, passed away on November 17, 2021, at home. She was born March 23, 1925, in Blanchard, OK to Emmit and Verna (Leader) Sands.
She attended Carter Seminary and Riverside Indian School. Wanda married Rueben Ahhaitty and they had Donnie, Charlie and Verna. She then married Wilbur Ahpeatone and they had 3 children Keith, Jayne and David.
Wanda Worked for AT&T and retired after 30 years. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and loved all the family gatherings. Wanda loved cooking for her favorite holiday. She was blessed with so many loved ones. Wanda loved her church and being very active in it.
She is preceded in death by her: parents, Emmit and Verna Sands
