Darlene grew up in Carnegie, Oklahoma, where she built the strong foundation of faith, family, and resilience that would guide her throughout her life. On December 19, 1964, she married the love of her life, Reo James Riley. Together they built a life centered on devotion, hard work, and family, eventually welcoming four children into their home.
Above all else, Darlene was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family and spending time with those she loved. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and comfort. Whether through a home-cooked meal, a listening ear, or steady guidance, she made sure everyone felt cared for and supported.
She will be remembered for her strength, her quiet kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Those who knew her best will carry forward her lessons of loyalty, perseverance, and unconditional love.
She is proceeded in death by one daughter, her son-in-law Monte Thurman, parents Ed & Nola Reynolds, her brother Johnnie Reynolds, grandmother Marey Toney, Mother-in-law Margorie Riley, numerous brother's & sister-in-laws.
She is survived by her husband Jim Riley of the home, son & DIL Mike & Laurie Riley of Weston, FL, son Johnny Riley of Tutle, OK, son Ronny of the home, daughter Lori Thurman of Chandler, OK. along with
