Rozaria Marie High Davis was born on May 19, 1983, to Rose Marie High in Lawton, Oklahoma.
After Rose Marie High's passing in 1988, Rozaria was officially adopted by the Davis family in 1993.
Rozaria grew up in Carnegie, Oklahoma, where she attended Carnegie Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 2002.
Rozaria was truly a gentle soul with a fiery spirit. Loyal to a fault, she would fiercely defend the people she loved, no matter the circumstance. She preferred to be called "Rosie," a name that suited her warmth and her personality.
Rosie was very close to her nieces and nephews, Jade, Caedon, Bradyn, Camdyn, and Tegan. She absolutely adored them and loved being "Aunt Bebe," a role she took great pride in and held close to her heart throughout her life.
Rosie was no stranger to struggle and carried her own battles in life, but she always had a heart for the underdog. She deeply cared for homeless animals and homeless individuals alike, always wanting to help others even when she had very little to give.
Rosie maintained a close connection with her biological family and held great pride in being Native, a part of her identity that remained important to her throughout her life.
Rozaria was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Marie High, Edward Davis, and Ninalea Davis. She was also preceded in death by a host of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins.
She is survived by her siblings, Rusty Davis, Debbie Sanders (John), Johnny Davis (LaDonna), Darolyn Davis (KC Nimsey), and Victor Davis (Vanisha). She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Jade, Caedon, Bradyn, Camdyn,John Jr
and Tegan, as well as many friends who loved her dearly.
Though Rosie faced many hardships throughout her life, those who knew and loved her will remember her fierce loyalty, her tender heart, and the way she cared deeply for people and animals that others often overlooked. May she finally find the peace, comfort, and rest that often escaped her here on earth, and may her memory continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
