Richard McKee

Richard Lee McKee passed away on November 22, 2025, in Anadarko, OK. He was born on February 21, 1957, to Verlon & Jean Anne (Cowan) McKee, in Anadarko, OK. He grew up and attended school in Anadarko, graduating in 1975. He met and married the love of his life, Vickie Evelyn Head, on June 25, 1990. Together they made their home in Anadarko, raising their children: Verlon & Sophie. Richard worked in the oilfield as a Derrick hand and managing grocerie stores.Rick's quick wit, warm charm, and magnetic presence touched everyone around him. Cooking was how he showed love, and he spent his happiest days fishing, appreciating cars, and rooting for OU football, and most of all loving his time with his grandson. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
