Rebecca Cahill

Rebecca Meave Cahill, 83, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Rebecca was born on May 14, 1943, in Superior, Arizona, to Adolph and Consula (Leal) Meave. She lived a life devoted to her faith, family, and service to others. Church was the center of her life, and she found great joy in serving the Lord and sharing His love with everyone she met.

Rebecca expressed her love through acts of kindness, especially through her cooking. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and fellowship, where family and friends were always welcomed with a meal and a caring heart. She cherished her children and grandchildren above all else, and they were truly the joy of her life.

Rebecca will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, loving heart, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her. Her legacy of love, devotion, and service will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.

Left to honor the memory of Rebecca are her husband, John, of 61 years, four children, John Cahill, Jr, Snyder, TX, Catania McGuire, Snyder, TX, Nathan Cahill and wife, Alicia, Edmond, OK, and Jayme Hightower and husband Greg, Edmond, OK; 13 grandchildren; six siblings, and a host of other family members.
