Mildred Shaw

Mildred Shaw passed away on June 22, 2024, in Chickasha, OK at the age of 75. She was born on May 5, 1949, in Pine Bluff, AR, to Edna Shaw Price. Mildred always had a smile on her face. She truly was the happiest person you would ever meet. She adored beaded jewelry and it seemed like she always had several bracelets on at a time. One was just not enough! She loved bright colors, pink and purple being among her favorites.

Some of her happiest days were when she lived in a group home, Harrington House, in Anadarko, where she had a job at Apex in the factory making products for the military and she also at McDonald's. She later became a resident of Glenhaven Retirement Center and lived there until her death. She was a happy and well-liked part of whatever community she was in. She was always a favorite to the staff. She loved Jesus and is no doubt looking into the eyes of her Savior at this moment! She loved to sing hymns and songs about Jesus and some of her happiest times were when she was in church. Mildred will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A host of nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Shaw Price; sister, Mary Ann Bassham; brother, Virgil Blundell; sister, Loretta Price; and brother, Lonnie Price.
