Michael Stuart John

Michael Stuart John, 69, passed away on May 14, 2026, with family by his side. He was born on November 13, 1956, in Lamartine, Wisconsin, to Charles and Ingaborg (Pobanz) John. He graduated from Lamartine High School in 1976. Michael was a hardworking man who dedicated much of his life to his work and helping others. He served as an instructor for the Laborers Union in Wisconsin, where he shared his knowledge and skills and made a lasting impact on those he taught and assisted throughout the years.

Michael was a soft-spoken man and a true jack of all trades who was devoted to his family. He worked throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons and enjoyed spending his winter months in Florida. Michael loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. He was known for his kind nature, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others. He touched many lives and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Brother: Richard John, Illinois

Sister: Randi Waltz, Arizona

Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ingaborg John; his grandparents; his mother-in-law; and grandson, Zayden Ives.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
