MATT GUOLADDLE
3/19/1965- 6/27/2026
It is with profound sadness and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Matt Guoladdle, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Matt departed this world unexpectedly on June 27, 2026, at the age of 61, leaving behind a legacy of love, humility, and quiet strength. Born on March 19, 1965, in Clinton, Oklahoma, Matt was the son of William Newton and Yolanda (Wetselline) Guoladdle.
Matt's early years were spent in Hobart, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Hobart High School in 1984. He carried with him the values of hard work and dedication, which he exemplified throughout his career as a cook at Sonic for many years.
A proud citizen of the Kiowa tribe, Matt held his native heritage close to his heart. He is a descendent of Chief Dohausen on his father's side and a descendent of Chief Lonewolf on his mother's side. His deep connection to his culture was mirrored in his love for the natural world. He often sought solace and inspiration in the quiet beauty of the outdoors, particularly finding joy in hiking through the creeks and mountains in search of arrowheads. He was a talented artist who created worlds of magic, dragons, and imagination. His creativity, kindness, and the wonder in his artwork continue to inspire everyone. He passed his artistic talent onto his children and grandchildren. Matt was also a devoted musician. He found an expressive outlet in playing the guitar and bass guitar, creating melodies that will echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Matt is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Darci Marie Guoladdle, and his loss is deeply felt by those who survive him. He leaves behind his cherished daughters: Tiffany Dean of Hobart, OK; Tina Guoladdle of Hobart, OK; Mercedese Guoladdle of Altus, OK; Shondae Guoladdle of Hobart, OK.; and stepson, Jared Garrison of Hobart, Ok.
His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren: Mariah Zotigh, Daegan Dean, Jacob Dean, Juliette Zotigh, Victor Zotigh, Matthew Dean, Brandon Zotigh, Anastasia Zotigh, and Willow Bennett, each of whom he adored and who brought immense joy to his life.
Matt is also survived by his siblings: Teresa Guoladdle of Carnegie, OK; Renee and Scotty Jones of Hobart, OK; Margaret Guoladdle-Garcia of Hobart, OK; Mia and Audie Ahhaitty of Yukon, OK; his brother, William Guoladdle of Oklahoma City, OK.; And numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, William and Yolanda Guoladdle; maternal grandmother, Lois Amaunkomo; his paternal grandparents, Margaret Bear Cody and Arthur Guoladdle; paternal Great grandparents, John Bert Bear, Sr, and Amy Bear; his sisters Myra Kim Guoladdle, and Leota Welliver; his brother Robert Guoladdle; and his sons-in-law, Sean Zotigh, and Matt Dean.
Matt's quiet and humble nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man of few words and many deeds, whose life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of simplicity. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the rich tapestry of memories he leaves behind, one filled with laughter, music, and the enduring bonds of family. Matt will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit lives on in the music he played, the nature he cherished, and the family he adored. May his journey to the stars be as peaceful as the life he lived.
