Mark Anthony Garrison

Mark Anthony Garrison passed away on June 29, 2026, in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was born on September 6, 1963, in Cordell to William Anthony and Anna Mae (Burhman) Garrison. Mark grew up in Cordell and graduated from Cordell High School in 1982. During high school, he attended Western Technology Center in Burns Flat, where he studied HVAC.

On August 3, 1985, Mark married the love of his life, Carrie Schmidt, in Cordell. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter and were blessed with two sons, Christopher and Daryl.

Mark worked for Wilhelm's in Elk City, Main Line in Cordell, and Hinz Refrigeration in Clinton before following his dream of starting his own business. In 2000, he founded Garrison Heat & Air, where he proudly served his community for many years.

Mark enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with friends, and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Above all else, he cherished every moment with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His love for his family was the center of his life, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
