Marita McKee

Marita Jo (Woodruff) Mckee a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was born on September 21, 1954 to Melvin and Mary Fern (House) Woodruff in Elk City, Oklahoma. Marita was raised on a dairy farm in Cowden, Oklahoma where she developed a strong work ethic and a love for life that she carried throughout her years.

Marita graduated from Carnegie High School in 1972 and went on to earn as associates degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University Business School. Her dedication and ambition led her to a fulfilling career at the Washita County Clerks Office where she faithfully served for 30 years.

In August 1977, she married the love of her life Ronnie McKee and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Marita was a devoted mother to her three children, Tiffany, Justin, and Ryan. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

Marita loved to spend time traveling especially to Branson, Missouri where she enjoyed watching shows like the showboat Branson Belle, The Presley's, and Clay Cooper. Her family was her greatest treasure. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
