Marilynn Kay Morrison

Marilynn Kay (Davis) Morrison was born on April 14, 1936, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Albert J. and Roberta (Lamb) Davis. She passed from this world on July 19, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of ninety.

Marilynn graduated from Anadarko High School in 1954. Beginning her working career as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell in Anadarko. She went to work in the Caddo County Court Clerk's office in 1961 as a deputy court clerk. Retiring as the Caddo County Court Clerk in 1991after 30 years of service to her community. After her retirement, Marilynn and her husband, Eunice, traveled extensively across the country. She lived her entire life in Anadarko until her move to Oklahoma City in 2012 to be near family.

Marilynn was a founding member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was active in the organization from 1965 to 2025. She loved her time with her sorority sisters, making meaningful and treasured memories throughout the years.

Marilynn was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Her family has a long history with the church.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Eunice Morrison, brother Donald J. Davis, daughter Kaye Morrison Keeting, granddaughter Lori Brock Conner, nephew Donald J. Davis, Jr., and other precious family members.

Surviving her are her daughters: Sonya Timmons Springer of Oklahoma City, and Shelly Timmons Dickey (David) of Moore, Oklahoma. Four grandchildren: Andrea Moser (David Long) of Oklahoma City, Krysten Cottle (Billy) of Shorewood, Minnesota, Jonathan Dickey (Annmarie Perez) of Oklahoma City, and Jared Dickey (Lilli Laumbach) of Moore, Oklahoma. Three great grandchildren: Mason Howell of Mustang, and Coy and Madelyn Cottle of Shorewood, Minnesota. Also, great nephew Spenser Davis of Seattle, Washington, along with several cousins.
