Lucy Ann (Sims) Bieberdorf, 95, of Altus, Oklahoma, went to her heavenly home on September 30, 2024. She was born on May 18, 1929, to Bryan O. B. and Evelyn Sims in Hobart, Oklahoma. Lucy graduated from Hobart High School in 1947. She attended Draughon Business School in Wichita Falls, TX, for 1 year after graduation. Lucy married Paul Bieberdorf in Hobart, Oklahoma on July 22, 1950. They had two daughters, Paula and Jane.
Lucy worked in Bryan and Evelyn's Great Southern Life Insurance office in Hobart following business school. She did secretarial work at the school in Gotebo and later at the Gotebo Cotton Gin, the Kiowa County Health Department and the Kiowa County Court Clerk office. She helped Paul around the farm, especially during cotton harvest. She and Paul had a custom cotton harvesting business with their partners Kenneth & Arlene Boyd and Maurice & Erma Welch. Lucy was an excellent homemaker and well known for her pies. She was a long-time member of the Hobart Garden Club. She also enjoyed painting wooden pieces that she gave to all the family as gifts. Volunteering at the Kiowa County Historical Museum and square dancing were some of Lucy and Paul's favorite activities.
She and Paul were life-long members of the Lutheran Church of Hobart until moving to Tamarack Assisted Living, in Altus in April 2016. They attended the Methodist Church where she became a member in 2021.
Lucy loved her family, especially the grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

Brothers - Louis Sims, Hobart, OK and James Sims, Henderson, TX
Great grandchildren: James and Hadley Naughton, Kash Rodgers, Rodrick Roden, Kian, Champ, Evelyn, and Paul Copeland, Caydee, Harper, and Sawyer Kennedy.
Lucy was preceded in death by Husband: Paul Bieberdorf, Parents: Bryan O.B and Evelyn Sims, and Brothers: Billy Bryan and Robert Sims, Sister-In-Laws: Dorothy and Gwen Sims, Grandchild: Melissa Jane Baden.
