Lottie Haury Goombi entered into Heaven Sunday, April 12, 2026. She was born in Lawton Indian Hospital September 25, 1958. She was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe. She has nine siblings, Clifton "Strawberry", Elizabeth McKinney, Janice Ticeahkie, Junior Haury, Donald Haury, Nancy Haury, Herman Haury, and Cathy Philbrook. One family tradition she had was spending time with them. She grew up in Carnegie and went to school in Carnegie, and she also attended Concho Indian Boarding school. She had seven children. These children preceded her in death, Ronald Dombo, Stephanie McKinney, Andrea Dombo, Francis Boytun Jr., Dombo and his wife live in Oklahoma City with their daughters, Mary Boytin and her children live in Oklahoma City. Doug Goombi and Lottie were married to her sister Jan Ticeahkie in Anadarko. Lottie cherished her children and grandchildren. She tried to do all she could to take care of them.
Lottie's hobbies included cooking, camping and bingo. She looked forward to Kiowa Gourd Clan celebrating cooking, eating and being with family and friends. She loved OU football and the Oklahoma City Thunder. She also loved reading her devotional in the quiet early morning hours. She was baptized in 2011 at her brother, Herman Haury and Rosie's home by Rev. Fred C. Taceahkie sister Janice M. Taceahkie. Her favorite scripture was, "So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Lottie was very kind and generous, she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed listening to music, joking around and laughing. Lottie was a loyal sister and friend. She is loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She wanted her family to know that she loved God and that God will help them like he helped her. Lottie is with her Savior. She is rejoicing on the streets of gold; she doesn't have to suffer anymore. Her wish would be for her family to enjoy each day God has given. Lottie tried to see good situations and people.
