Linda Marie Curtis-Golden

Linda Marie Curtis-Golden, 75, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025. She was born on January 14, 1950, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Roy and Lela (Hill) Harwell.

Linda grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma, where she attended school and made lifelong friends. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, proudly becoming a Sooner.

In 1970, she married Gerald Miland Curtis Sr., and to this union children were born. Linda was a devoted mother who loved her family dearly. On October 1, 2020, she married Hessley Golden, with whom she shared her later years, filled with love, laughter, and companionship.

Linda lived a life full of heart and spirit. She was known for her feisty and fearless personality, a woman who met every challenge head-on. She enjoyed scrapbooking, visiting the casino, and spending time with her loved ones. She especially cherished the time she spent as "Ms. Linda," a title she wore proudly both in her personal life and at work.

Linda served as a Sergeant at the Stephens County Jail, where she was well-respected by her colleagues and those she supervised. She took pride in her work, treating everyone with fairness, strength, and compassion.

She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her bold spirit, and her ability to make everyone around her feel seen and valued.
