Linda Marie Bailey

Linda Bailey was born on March 29, 1948, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and passed away surrounded by family on September 22, 2025, in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Gene and Beulah Powers and sister to Norma Thurman and Randy Powers.

Linda spent her early years traveling with her family throughout the western states until the 6th grade, when they settled in Carnegie. On January 30, 1981, she married Kenneth Bailey.

Linda dedicated her life to caring for others. She earned her LPN degree from Cameron University and later completed her RN/BSN along with a Master's degree in Public Health from OU. She faithfully served her community, working more than 30 years at the Carnegie Indian Health Clinic and 20 years at Carnegie Hospital.

Grandchildren: Brek Phy, Brennan Phy, Blane Gunter, Skyla Culleny, Bryson Bailey, Cole Bailey, Kendon Miller, and Lyndee Miller Great-grandchildren: Kasen Phy, Kailor Phy, Bella Culleny, and Gracie Culleny

Bonus Children: Chris Chalepah & Darolyn Davis

Sister Norma Thurman & husband Chris, her brother Randy Powers and wife Lechia of Carnegie, and her dearest friend Sharon Kimbrell.

Linda will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her compassion for patients, and her devotion to her community.
