January 27, 1943 — July 19, 2025

Leota Louise "Lee" Chapman, 82, of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, an angel on earth called home on July 19, 2025. Lee was born on January 27, 1943, to Raymond Lee and Theola (Burgdorf) Patterson in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She started life on a farm in Caddo County Oklahoma, where she lived with her three sisters and one brother. Lee moved in with family in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 14, after the death of both her parents. She loved playing in the Paschal High School band and had already started to work for the phone company part-time her senior year.

Lee was introduced to Larry by her older sisters. They were married on November 25, 1961. Lee was a very gracious mother of their two sons: Lyndal and Lance. She was always beside Larry through his careers as Construction Manager and Minister. They made many friends throughout their travels. Lee was always proud to be working with the youth at the Vo-Tech and at the church. She also loved working with the meals on wheels, singing with her friends at the surrounding nursing homes, and being a member of the Fort Cobb Garden Club.

Larry was blessed to be Lee's partner in life for over 63 years. She loved her family and was always there to help them out. No one ever had an unkind word to say about Lee Chapman. Her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
