Leon Stafford

Leon La-Morris Stafford passed away on August 20, 2025, in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born on November 7, 1979, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Ann Tilmon and grew up in Hobart, where he spent most of his life.

He graduated from the US Treasure Lake Job Corps Center in Indiahoma, OK, in 1998 and went on to build a life centered around family, hard work, and simple joys.

Since May 30, 1995, Leon's heart belonged to the love of his life, Minnie Hernandez. Together they raised three children and built a family that became his whole world. Leon loved nothing more than spending time with his kids and grandkids, who brought him endless joy.

Leon worked as a caretaker at Searchlight, where his caring spirit touched many lives. Outside of work, he loved music and had a knack for a good game of dominos. He enjoyed the little things in life, laughing with loved ones, sharing stories, and making memories that will live on. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
