Kristian Ray Edge

Kristian "Kris" Ray Edge, 48, of Gracemont, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Gracemont, Oklahoma.

Kris was born on October 6, 1977, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Lavinia Pau-Kune and the late Sammy Dunlap.

Kris was a proud member of the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. Kris was a devoted husband, father, Paw Paw, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for his kind heart, contagious smile, goofy personality, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He never met a stranger and had a way of making people laugh, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and camping, but he was just as happy at home gaming. Kris was known as the ultimate Minecraft builder by his children. He was also a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan who proudly supported his team through every season.

Above all else, Kris loved his family. He loved being a father, but he loved being "Paw Paw" even more. His grandson Braylon was the light of his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with him. His family was his greatest accomplishment and the center of his world.

Kris is survived by his loving wife, Stefanie Edge; his sons, Isaiah Martin and Devon Edge, both of Gracemont, Oklahoma; his daughters, Kayleigh Callahan and husband, Kylie Callahan, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Karissa Edge of Gracemont, Oklahoma; his cherished grandchildren, Braylon Ray Callahan and Leighton Callahan of Anadarko, Oklahoma; and his special niece, Kalayah Martin.

He is also survived by his mother, Lavinia Pau-Kune; his father, Jerry Pau-Kune; his sisters, Alena Polly, Caroline Pau-Kune, Velma Smith, Shannon Smith, Julie Smith, Josephine Isom, and Dorcus Sharon Isom; his brothers, Charles Pau-Kune, Louis Dunlap, Truman Janway, and Samuel Dunlap; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Kris was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Courtney Edge; his father, Sammy Dunlap; his sisters, Sharon Smith and Rayanna Isom; his grandparents, Truman Dunlap and Velma Tsoodle; and his grandparents, Mae Edith Williams Edge and Elvern Edge Sr.

Though his passing was sudden, the love Kris shared throughout his life will continue to live on in those who knew him. His laughter, his generous heart, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless memories he created will never be forgotten. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, family, and everyone whose life he touched.

Kris will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
