Kenneth Lee Boggs Jr., 69, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Cordell, Oklahoma. Kenneth was born on February 2, 1956, in Cordell to Kay (Molen) and Kenneth Boggs. Ken was a lifelong resident of Cordell and a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Ken graduated from Cordell High School in 1974. His main interest was agriculture and horticulture. Farming was his passion and being a part of Boggs Hay Farms. He was very skilled in farm equipment, oil field equipment, truck driving, and large machinery such as backhoes and tractors. Ken worked for Sewell Brothers, Estes Chemical Company, various oil companies, and contracted as a flowback in the oil industry.
Ken married Nancy Green, and one son, Clayton, was born to this union. He was a loving father to Clayton and loved being a dad. He loved taking road trips with Clayton and enjoyed the many experiences they shared. He was so very proud of his son being a "first-generation" college graduate of the University of Oklahoma and watching him grow into a successful, happy young adult.
Ken married Vickie Boothe Foster, and together they had 7 years relishing their retirement. They enjoyed traveling and sharing adventures together. Ken enjoyed his small piece of land where he and Vickie started building a small herd of registered Texas Longhorns. The cattle were his pride and joy and also his pets.
Ken enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He had many wonderful lifelong friends who had been with him through hard times and good times. He loved his church family at the Northside Church of Christ.
Ken had a kind heart and loved to make others happy. He loved to give, share, and do things for others. He will be missed by his friends and family.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Green) Boggs; his parents, Kenneth Boggs and Jimmy Kay Osborne; his sister, Janie Bellah; his aunt, Lauree (Boggs) Stafford; and his grandparents, Clayton and Gracie Boggs and Jim and Gertha Molen.
Ken is survived by his wife, Vickie (Boothe, Foster) Boggs; son, Clayton Boggs of Oklahoma City; sister, Jeri Dawson, and brother-in-law, Larry Dawson of Moore; stepchildren, Lynne and Bryan Dooley and Sarah and Justin Sipes; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
