Juaneace Maureen Knight

August 9, 1933 — November 21, 2025

Juaneace Maureen Kerley was born to Buel James Kerley and Mamie Howard Kerley in Dill City, Oklahoma on August 9, 1933. She graduated from Dill City High School in May 1951 and married Gerald Gene Knight at the First Baptist Church in Dill City shortly before she graduated on February 9, 1951. Juaneace became a Christian at a very young age and lived a Christ centered life. Juaneace and Gerald had four children, Gerald ("Gerry") Gene Knight II, Garold ("Gary") Gordon Knight, Gina Denise Knight-Lucy and Gil Joseph Knight. After Gerald completed the service, they moved to Oklahoma City while Gerald completed college/law school and while raising their family. Juaneace was employed at Northwest Baptist Church for about 4 years as Secretary and continued working in the church nursery in every church they were members throughout the years. Juaneace was a member of the Sweet Adelines and enjoyed traveling with the group singing. In 1973, Juaneace and Gerald moved to McLoud, Oklahoma and raised their two youngest children "in the country". She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lovingly supported her family in countless ways and children were always close to her heart. She was truly an example of a Proverbs 31 woman. Juaneace lost her long fought battle with Alzheimers on November 21, 2025. She is proceeded in death by her husband, her parents and siblings, Elwanda Neely, Jimmy Kerley, Ann Coogan and Terry Kerley. Although Alzheimers dimmed her memories, her loving spirit will never be forgotten. She is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren, her sister, Delores Maddox, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was dearly loved by all that knew her.
