Jo Nell Brownback

Jo Nell Brownback passed away on August 17, 2025, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born on February 17, 1929, to Clarence W. and Beatrice (Meeks) McMillin. Jo Nell grew up and attended and graduated from Washita High School. On January 15, 1948, she married Dewitt Brownback in Oney, Oklahoma. Jo Nell was a long-time member of the church of Christ and worked faithfully alongside Dewitt where he served as a deacon. Jo Nell was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and poured her love and energy into caring for her family, home and the farm. She will be remembered for many talents. Jo Nell was an excellent seamstress and cook. She was known for her delicious pies. She will be remembered for her strong-willed spirit, steady presence, and deep love for those around her. Jo Nell will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her
