Janice Sue Botone, 70, of Anadarko, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 25, 2026. She was born in Lawton, Ok on April 23, 1955, to Bucky and Hazel (Tartsah) Seymour. She married Thomas Botone of Carnegie, Ok in January of 1975.
Janice grew up and attended school in Anadarko. She attended Caddo Kiowa Vo-Tech and received her LPN license. She enjoyed attending revivals and hearing the word. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, including her bible, listening to a variety of music, scrapbooking and crossword puzzles. Janice loved her family and spent as much time as she could with them. She was an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma.
Janice will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her. She always had a smile on her face and loved to joke and tease with anyone she knew.
The family of Janice, extends our deepest appreciation to the many hospitals and nursing facilities for the care and kindness they provided to our loved one.

2 Daughters: Monica Johanntoberns and her husband, Troy of Anadarko
Tiffany Botone of Anadarko
1 Son: Robert Botone and his companion, Benita Vasquez of Anadarko.
2 Sisters: Deborah Seymour of Anadarko
Saloma Thompson of Oklahoma City and her husband, Embry.
1 Brother: Randy Seymour of New Mexico.
6 Grandchildren: Mandi Botone, Julie Botone, Lakyn Lujan, Adryk Ware, Brandon Johanntoberns and Lauren Johanntoberns
3 Great-Grandchildren: Dally Layne Botone, Leo Jace Walker-Botone and Kyler Antonio Johanntoberns.
And numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her Parents: Bucky and Hazel (Tartsah) Seymour, 3 brothers, Otis Tartsah, Martin Gene Seymour and Bucky Seymour Jr. Grandparents: Logan and Ida (Tsotigh) Tartsah, Lotsee Chandler and Henry Samone. Her uncles Virgil Tartsah, Jake Galindo, Rudy Butler, Gene Caddo, Frank "Butch" Caddo, Vernon Tartsah, Alfred Tartsah, Eugene Tartsah and her aunts Emaline Sword and Iola Tartsah.
Pall bearers are Adryk Ware, Brandon Johanntoberns, Bucky Seymour III., Freddy Galindo, Tony Galindo, Garrett Tartsah, Rudy Tartsah III., and Rudy Fisher Jr.
Honorary Pall bearers are Gabriel Thompson, Terrance Bonham, Frank Galindo, Brett "Mousey" Galindo and Daylon Smith.
Services will be at Ware's Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Boyiddle and Rev. Rudy Tartsah Jr. Wake will be on March 1, 2026 at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 2, at 11 a.m.
Visitation will be held at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK March 1, 2026 from 1:00 - 5:00 p. m.
Interment: Ware Cemetery Anadarko, OK
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
