Harry Noble Starr, Sr., 79, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, in Corn, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 12, 1947, in Boone, to David Starr, Sr. and Rosie Hall Zotigh.
Harry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, relative, and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He cherished every moment spent with those he loved and was known for his caring heart, quiet strength, and generous spirit. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and love to all who knew him, and the memories he created with his family and friends will be treasured forever.
He attended Boone Grade School and graduated with the Class of 1964. In 1970, he continued his education by attending trade school in Roswell.
Harry worked as a carpenter for many years and took great pride in the work of his hands. He was respected for his strong work ethic, skilled craftsmanship, and willingness to help others whenever he could.
