George Hooper

George Worth Hooper, 85, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was born on April 3, 1940, to John Dee and Carrie (Thiessen) Hooper in Stratford, Oklahoma. George grew up and attended school in Oak Dale, Oklahoma. When not at school he and his brothers enjoyed playing at Cottonwood Creek. During his working life George worked in construction, custom wheat harvest, and was co-owner of Hooper Trucking with his son, Larry Hooper. He was an avid pilot. George loved flying with his brother Robert. He enjoyed fishing with his brother Mark, even when the fish weren't biting. His favorite time was when he got to pick his grandchildren up from school and take them to Quick Mart for a snack, and then Face Timing with them in the evening. When at home he watched every OKC Thunder game with Etta. George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
