Francella Ann Ware, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 15, 2024, in Anadarko, OK. She was born on April 24, 1937, to Wilson Mauchahty & Pearl Pewo Ware, at their home outside of Apache, OK. She grew up and attended school at Broxton & Fort Sill Indian School. Frankie met and married the love of her life, Buzz Carter. Together they made their home in Fort Cobb - Broxton, raising their children. She taught native american education & arts and crafts at Fort Cobb & Elgin Schools. Frankie was very artistic. She enjoyed beadworking, making pow wow dresses, moccasins, dancing & singing. Frankie will be remembered for her infectious laughter & smile. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
