Etta Marie McLemore

Etta Marie McLemore of Gracemont, passed away on April 20, 2026, in Weatherford, OK. Etta was born on May 1, 1935, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, to Gray and Letha (King) Rogers. She met the love of her life, Jake McLemore, and they were married on October 22, 1949, in Chickasha. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion. Jake gave her that house on a hill with a view she had always dreamed of, and it became a place where her family grew, gathered, and felt at home.

Etta was a proud homemaker, and she poured her whole heart into it. She and Jake raised seven daughters, and her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. She was known as the best cook and baker, always making sure no one left her table hungry and that there was something sweet to share. She had a way of making people feel welcome, cared for, and loved, and the time spent with her is something her family will always treasure. Whether it was a full house, shared meals, or quiet moments together, those were the things that meant the most to her.
