Emma Marie Hainta

Emma Marie Hainta passed away with her family by her side on June

6, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on September 12,

1959, in Lawton, OK, to Joseph Taft (Chief) Hainta and Leona

(Apekaum) Johnson.

Emma was raised in Carnegie OK by David and Emma Apekaum.

She was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe and held her heritage

close to her heart throughout her life. Emma worked in press

printing, where she dedicated many years of service with skill and

diligence. Emma was a loving mother whose joy came from caring

for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dale Clements, and Daughter: Keeli Clements. Father Joseph

Hainta: Brother Carl Hainta and Sisters Indis Joy Botone and Doris
