David Wayne Hawks

David Wayne Hawks was 62 years old and passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2022, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Delfa Hawks where he grew up and attended Gracemont High School. David loved the outdoors, fishing, and watching OU football. He spent many years working as a caregiver, constructor and doing landscaping. He was always willing to help others and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially his grandchildren.
David is survived by his mother, Delfa Hawks, Anadarko, OK

Brothers: Daniel Hawks, Anadarko, OK and Bob Valdez of Oregon

Children: Miranda Hawks and companion Santana Owings, Anadarko, Ok
Tracy and husband, Jeremy Mathews, Chickasha, Ok
Cheyenne and husband Daryl Galindo Anadarko, OK
Silas Reeder and companion Destinee Cotter Anadarko, OK

Grandchildren: Heaven Lee Owings, Monica, and Teresa Galindo; DeJay, Jaxon, Brynlee, and Brody Mathews; Bennie, Rosealia, and Iskandar Daugherty and many other nieces and nephews.

Adopted Family: Frankie Ware, Laurie Carter, and Lenora Parton.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Kenneth Hawks, brother, Donald Hawks, and a close friend Leon "Bo" Carter.

He will be loved and missed by all that knew him.
