Dale Keith Butler, 78, of Verden, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on February 17, 1948, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to George and Nora (Sturm) Butler.

Dale attended Gracemont High School. Shortly after graduating, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he honorably served his country for four years.

On December 29, 1967, Dale married the love of his life, Doris "Jean" Hendricks, in Gracemont, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and hard work, and were blessed with four daughters: Sonya, Dalene, Kristie, and Lorrie.

Dale worked for many years in transportation for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, but his true passion was farming and raising cattle. He found great satisfaction in working the land and caring for his livestock. Above all else, Dale loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and provider who worked tirelessly to give his family a good life. In his later years, one of his greatest joys was being a devoted grandfather. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories and sharing with them the values of hard work, kindness, and love. His steadfast love, strong work ethic, and quiet dedication will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
