Christopher Cavanaugh

Christopher Joseph Cavanaugh, 60, passed away on September 14, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born on March 1, 1966, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Adeline Cavanaugh.

Christopher grew up in Philadelphia and attended Cedar Keys High School before continuing his education at Florida Keys Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he served with the United States Special Forces and Airborne Military Police. Following his military service, Christopher continued a life of service through his work with the Key West Police Department and later as a corrections officer. Christopher married Victoria Ahhaitty, at the home place on May 21, 2025.

Christopher was a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed cheering on his team. More than anything, he loved his family and the people closest to him.

Children: Alyssa Cavanaugh, Andrea Stumblingbear, Joel Stumblingbear, Doug Stumblingbear Jr., and Joshua Ahhaitty

Brother: Edward Cavanaugh Jr.

Cousins: Gregory Rabuttino, Rocky Rabuttino, and Franchesca Rabuttino
