Michael Allen Dietrich, 78, passed away on September 19, 2025, in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma with family by his side. Allen was born on October 18, 1946, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Edd & Wini (Crosby) Dietrich. Allen grew up on the family ranch south of Carnegie. He graduated from Carnegie High School in 1964 and from Oklahoma State University in 1969, with a BS in Agronomy. Allen served in the Oklahoma National Guard from June 1969-June 1975. On October 1, 1971. Allen married Shelly Whisenhunt in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
They made their home outside of Nowata, Oklahoma where Allen was the Northeast District Field Representative for the Oklahoma Farm Bureau. In 1973, he became the Southwest District Representative and they moved home to Carnegie. Allen also farmed and ranched and in 1987, left Farm Bureau and began operating Carnegie Livestock in Carnegie. Allen enjoyed working with cattle, farming and the buying and selling that involved. He was active in the community and served on the committee in 2001 working to save and restore the Carnegie Memorial Building. He continued to support that effort and many other school and civic activities, such as Carnegie Livestock Facility providing the space for the 4th of July Firework displays.

Bella & Willow Dietrich, Carnegie, OK
Nephews & Nieces: Michael Dietrich & wife Brooke, Carnegie, OK
Mindy Brock and & husband Will, Mountain View, OK
Cameron Newport, Oklahoma City, OK
Great nephews and nieces: Angel, Joseph, Mark, Eli, Cale & Luke
And a host of other family and friends
Preceded in death by his wife, Shelly Dietrich and parents Edd & Wini Dietrich
