Elsie Mae Gilmore, 58, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away August 26, 2016. She was born on September 13th, 1957, to Samuel Lee and Geraldine (Ford) Gilmore in Clinton, Oklahoma. Elsie loved to play solitaire, pool, and watching soap operas. She was a member of the Church of Christ on Lincoln Street. She is survived by her daughter, Joretta Thomas and husband Charles, Lawton, Oklahoma, sons; Larry Owens Jr., Wichita, Kansas, Patrick Wayne Gilmore and wife Kristina, Lawton, Oklahoma, sisters; Louise Norword, Hobart, Oklahoma, Beatrice Ford, Hobart, Oklahoma, Sammy and Vicki Gilmore, Hobart, Oklahoma, sister in law: Donna reed of Wichita, Kansas 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews and her dog, Sam Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Alicia Ford and Nancy Mandier, one brother Kenneth Traylor, and two grandchildren; Telina Gilmore and Larry Wayne Owens III. A funeral service for Elsie Gilmore will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Church of Christ in Hobart, Oklahoma. Reverend Vernon Traylor will be officiating. Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
