Judy, Carla & Phil, David & Toni,,my heart breaks with all of you at the loss of our sweet Henry.  The reunion between Henry and Rema had to be beautiful because I know how much love they shared the entire time that I knew them.  So many memories from our childhood, Carla.  Henry farming and Rema cooking.  Rema loved to cook and Henry loved to eat! A special time that I will never forget was at John's wedding when Henry wanted Edward and I to sit with them so he could talk to us.  He had eaten the food except for the wedding cake.  He told me (not ask me) to go get him a piece of each of the bride and groom's cake.  I said "Henry, I would get in a lot of trouble if I cut those cakes before John and Jennifer cut them for their wedding pictures.  He said"Naw, nobody would ever notice!" I told him that he would have to be patient until the bride and groom got their pictures cutting the cake.  As soon as the pictures were taken, I said which kind do you want> He said I want a piece of both of them.  I looked at Rema and she just giggled that sweet giggle of hers and said "Beverly, he is rotten.  Just get him a piece of both cakes or he won't leave you alone.  He then said if you can't eat what you want, it isn't worth living! Quite the duo you had! May Henry RIP and enjoy his garden in Heaven.  I will always remember this man and what a fine husband, father, grandfather and man he was.  Precious memories! May God be with you all in the days ahead!

Henry was a dear friend to my dad, JD Groff. Cut from the cloth of a true gentleman and neighbor we see few of these days it was always a pleasure to make Henry's acquaintance and this world will have one less angel walking its lands, now that he is gone. It is no doubt; Henry holds the best cards to trump the hands of all others now. May he rest in peace and his reunion with those who have gone on before bring him joy beyond any ever expected!
